"Manchester United and I still have to find an agreement for the new contract. This isn't easily done; we are still going to have to talk about this," Ten Hag stated.

According to The Mirror, Erik Ten Hag's new contract signing could be more special than before, as he is connected to another Dutchman familiar to Manchester United fans: former striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Van Nistelrooy, who has been unemployed since leaving his coaching position at PSV in 2023, is rumored to be joining Ten Hag's coaching staff.
This move has received comments from Italian football expert Fabrizio Romano, who linked Nistelrooy with his senior.
"Man United has submitted a proposal to bring back Nistelrooy," Romano stated on X (former Twitter). "The Dutch will make his decision soon."
